The 41st Edith House Lecture, featuring Janet P. Judge, co-founder of the Education & Sports Law Group, moderated by Darrice Griffin, UGA Senior Director of Athletics, will take place on Tuesday, March 19th, at 3:30 pm.

 

Janet P. Judge has more than 30 years of experience serving the needs of higher education clients.  A four-time Best Lawyers in America peer nominated Sports Law of the Year, most recently in 2024, Janet regularly represents and advises NCAA Division I, II, and III schools and conferences regarding Title IX athletic equity compliance, sexual misconduct prevention and response, and athlete well-being, including administrative and judicial proceedings.

 

The Edith House lecture is sponsored by the UGA Chapter of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers in honor of Edith House, a native of Winder, Georgia, who was co-valedictorian of the UGA School of Law class of 1925, the first class to graduate women.
